Completing an MA in Linguistics at the Canada Institute of Linguistics
In 2017 Deborah trained to be a primary teacher in Switzerland where she taught for five years.
She joined Wycliffe in 2022 and completed the Certificate in Language, Community and Development in Moorlands College in England.
From 2023 to 2025, she worked on tone analysis and a grammar description of Shibne, the language of the Sumrai in Chad.
