Rebecca: During my studies (English and Musicology) I discovered my passion for linguistics and therefore decided to do a master's degree in linguistics (language and communication). At the same time, I completed a short-term assignment in Chad with Wycliffe in the summer of 2016 to help create a dictionary. This was followed by another assignment in Chad in 2018, as well as a year of further studies in Canada, and since 2020 I have been working from Switzerland for the Hadjeray project.
Clint: I’m from the US and completed a bachelor's degree in linguistics and a master's degree in Biblical Languages in Portland and Boston. Among other things, I also went to Israel to study Hebrew. In 2019 I went to Canada to get a master's degree in applied linguistics in order to specifically prepare for working with Wycliffe .
We met while studying linguistics in Canada and got married in 2020. Since then we have been in Switzerland to improve our French (Clint) and to build a partnership with a church in French-speaking Switzerland. At the same time, we are preparing to serve in Africa. We have a daughter and we are expecting twins in spring 2024.
